The Higher Institute of Business Administration occupies a prominent position in the Syrian Arab Republic, reflected by its size and capacity, and the diversity of its scientific departments and the programs it offers. Where the institute includes five scientific departments, providing various sciences and administrative, economic and accounting knowledge. These scientific departments have witnessed various developments until they are as they are now.

The scientific department is the basic educational and structural structural unit of the institute, and it is considered a scientific unit in its field of specialization and includes qualitative, interrelated and integrated scientific axes, with full responsibilities in it, and the department supervises the preparation of studies and research projects and the advisory services in the field of specialization.
